What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out can often be arranged — just ask.
Is breakfast included?
Yes — a home-cooked Sri Lankan or Western breakfast is included with every room, served with estate-grown Ceylon tea.
How cold does it get at night?
Nuwara Eliya sits at 1,868 m, so evenings are genuinely cold. Every room has extra blankets, and the common areas have a wood fireplace lit each evening.
Do you allow pets?
Well-behaved pets are welcome in the Garden View Room and Fireplace Family Suite — just let us know when booking.
Is there parking on site?
Yes, free private parking is available for all guests.
How far is the cottage from Nuwara Eliya town?
About a 10-minute drive from the town centre and Gregory Lake, and 15 minutes from the nearest tea factory tour.
What's the minimum stay?
We ask for a minimum stay of 2 nights, longer over weekends and the April season.
